September 20th, 2019 - Global Climate Strike ABQ
On September 20th, 2019 thousands of students from across Albuquerque joined millions of others across the world in the Global Week of Climate Crisis Action. Our week kicked off with a massive strike on September 20th where youth and adult allies walked out from school and work and took to the streets to demand urgent actions to address the impending climate collapse threatening our future.
In addition to a rally and march for high-school and college students, we partnered with community organizations to host a Climate Action Fair for younger middle and elementary school students.
